This guide will help you find the sources you need for your research bibliography assignment: reference sources; books; magazine, newspaper and journal articles; and recommended websites. It's also a good framework for other research projects you might have.

 

Starting on a new topic

Start with Google and Wikipedia to get an overview of your topic as well as some descriptive words to use in your searching. Just as you may not be able to use World Book or Britannica, you probably can't cite Wikipedia as a source but it's a great place to begin.
